  Blog Day 2

For the second day of senior project, I stepped away from my online class and started filling in the other requirements for a Merchant Mariner License. In the morning, I got some regular coursework done and then headed down to Concord for the afternoon. I took a 6-hour-long First Aid/CPR/AED Course for adults, children, and babies. It was so long and so tiring but I’m happy it’s over with. I did First Aid in the morning, where I learned all about wounds, pressure, and tourniquets. In the afternoon, I re-instated my CPR and AED certification, where I learned first how to do the response on adults and then on kids and babies. At the end of the class, I took the final exam, which I passed with flying colors. I even got to take some things home in case I ever ran into an emergency. Overall, it was a really good experience and I’m happy I got it over with in the beginning.
